Amazing Grapes benefit for the Hermann-Grima House,

Bizou Wines supplied more than 30 wines at the annual Amazing Grapes benefit for the Hermann-Grima House, while Founder & Owner, James Moises, poured. Reds, whites, roses and champagnes to fit any taste were paired well with the cuisine prepared by Broussard's, the neighbor of Hermann-Grima House. Both of their adjacent courtyards were open for the party on April 23.

Dr. James Moises leads the kind of double life that would challenge even the most ardent overachievers. Besides directing the emergency room at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center and teaching at Tulane and LSU's medical schools, Moises makes wine. This isn't some sort of backyard operation — he is a wine producer in Oregon's Willamette Valley, and it's a full-time, year-round occupation. Somehow, Moises manages to fit both his medical and wine-making careers into one schedule. He sees wine making as a complement to his duties as a physician and uses both occupations to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Looking back, I guess that is where my interest in wine began.
